My artistic talents sprouted when I was very young. I spent my entire life developing them, beginning with drawing and painting and then moving into digital art. After high school, I attended Kent State University and majored in Drawing and Painting but really wanted to get a degree in a digital medium. I transferred to the University of Toledo and graduated in 2003 with special honors. I was then contacted by a feature film art director and was hired to create artwork for a film called Lightning Bug. That experience motivated me to move out to Hollywood and work in the film community. With help from a friend, I immediately began working in other feature films’ art departments which eventually led to my full-time employment at Greg Aronowitz and Associates.
My time at GAA was filled with all kinds of learning experiences ranging from story development to creature creation. I also began working as production designer and art director on side projects. The time I spent there was invaluable and it taught me how to time manage well and gave me an incredible work ethic.
Gradually and moved to Lakewood, Ohio with my wife and began working for Doner advertising. The change of culture was good for my growth and afforded me new opportunities down the stretch. I began working in interactive mediums and took a job with an e-marketing company, Proximity Marketing. Since then I have become and e-marketing design specialist and have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences there.
I don’t know what lies in my future but I anticipate great things and I will continue to work with wonderful people in an amazing industry. |
